I'm always ticked on how Disney Princess are always white.
I guess people were complaing enough I mean first they added Mulan(Chinese) Pocahontas(Indian) and Jasmine(Arabic) at long last lol but there are some many other different gals they didn't

Esme used to be but they took her off and Kida and Melody are by blood princess and they never include them. Lol it's confusuing

Whwn I saw they announced Tiana I was like "About time so much they speak of racist and they should look at their princessess"

At long last they made a African American as for Latin I count Esme a bit since Gypsy is a race mixed with Egyptian and Spainards and they pratically ignore her. Besides I would also love a Latin Princess as well hehe I'm Latin lol maybe soon after Tiana they would make one. Other companies did

Chel(Brazilian) but she's from Fox
I think Princess YumYum is Peru not sure but she's from Fox as well

I guess you're right... haha that's so funny my faves when i was little were always *in order* Belle/Esmeralda *tied*, Mulan, Pocahontas, Meg and then Jasmine/Ariel! haha it's pretty funny i liked most of the "cultural" ones. I think i was kinda like that w/American girl dolls too! I had Josefina and Kaya (the Sioux girl) mostly b/c i'm 1/2 hispanic/ part Navajo (well and part german english lots of irish etc.!I'm a mutt!)

Ik i was so happy to see that they were going to have Princess Tiana! She is very pretty from the pics i have seen so far.I wonder what kind of story they are going to build around that... I heard that it is set in New Orleans which should be fun!

Yes Chel from Road to El Dorado oh and yes I always loved Anastasia she would of been my favorite Disney Princess but she's not Disney lol and yes she's not plain white she's russian which is why I love her plus she's like the only one I loved her songs the most.


Yes Tiana is very pretty which I'm gald they didn't make her uglier like they did with Kida who could've been a babe Ooohh New Orleans weird they always set it in a fantasy land almost always.

Hey I always loved Josefina of all the other AG dolls too I have her as well they're planing on making her BF a doll too when her movie comes out like all the others but what I'm really mad is they still haven't done none of the culture dolls movies yet just Samantha, Felicity, Molly and Kit.
