Promise I'm Not a TV Bug and OMFG

Sat May 30, 2009, 10:48 AM
Okay, so today i heard the BEST news i've heard in a REALLY long time! They're airing the last 3 episodes of Pushing Daisies on ABC starting tonight at nine! A little piece of me died when the show got cancelled due to poor ratings (and not even Ned could bring it back!). Anyway, I was under the impression that they were going to leave all of the fans hanging, and when i found out that they were going to air them, I was beyond happy! If you've never seen the show, I'm pretty sure it's still possible to see them all online at ABC.com.
Also, I happen to be a fan of the new Fall show, Glee. As i have confessed before, not only am I a nerd, I am a musical nerd that loves to sing. Anyway, glee is about a hilarious yet realistic glee club that is struggling for success. They did a really good cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" and even fans of the original have said that it didn't make their ears bleed. In the preview for the next episode, i heard "Somebody to Love" which is one of my favorite all time songs because I love Queen. This show has to be seen to be believed, and it's a quirky show with heart (and that's my favorite kind)
NEXT. Psych on USA returns this summer with new episodes! Psych just continues to be fresh, and James Roday and Dule Hill have the perfect bff chemistry. I do want to see Sean and Jules get together at the end of this season... For those of you who've never seen it, Psych is a show about a guy with a photographic memory who passes it off as being psychic while solving murders with his best friend, Gus. The characters are well-rounded and entertaining, and the plots just seem to get better and better. This is the kind of show you can just pick up in the middle of the season which is nice (don't need a ton of backstory) and before you say, "Doesn't that sound a little like The Mentalist?" let me just say, Psych came first! It also has a huge following at my school which is fun.
Heroes... well I'm still interested in the plot so I'll watch when it comes back. I've said this before, I liked season one SO so much and season two was just ...ick. It was mostly because Maya was such a pain. Season three had major plotholes, but i was just glad it was better than season 2. Plus, just to get it out there, I thought Zachary Quinto (Sylar) was rogue-ishly good looking before Star Trek came out! haha
Gossip Girl: Yes, I admit to being a GG fan! It's really my guilty pleasure show, but i do love it. Only complaint about this season: Jenny Humphrey looking like a raccoon with all that make-up. Highlight of the season: Chuck finally telling Blair he loves her *dies*. I could care less about Serena! I love the chuck and blair drama. Oh! and before i forget, remember the actor who played Nate's Vanderbilt cousin? Aaron Tveit? Well, he has the MOST amazing singing voice ever, so listen to him in the critically acclaimed Next to Normal (on Broadway). That show is amaaaaazing.
Shows that have been put on the back burner: The Soup and ANTM. Okay, Allison should have won! Tyra's favorite always wins. 'nuff said. I LOVE The Soup and i still watch clips... Joel McHale will be making a comeback into my heart this summer :)
As for latenight, Craig Ferguson is the BEST. He's so silly! and if you've never seen him on CBS you have to! Oh yes he is Scottish :D

Anyway... I'm thinking about creating an art-blog hybrid thing this summer (not right now because of finals) but I think it'd be really fun! Plus, only members can comment on DA and most of my friends aren't DA members.

So, until the blogart (boggart? nooooo!) becomes a reality, please either comment DA style or shoot me an email at bostonmegan@gmail.com

back to studying *fail* until next time :D

Haha, the website's just a forum where people write collaborative fiction. It's like modern Disney. I play a modernized Frollo. It's fuuuun. =3

And I know! I have to go see it when it's there. I mean, really. I HAVE to. XD
